newspaper fun

Yesterday, Agnes and I read newspapers. Huh? Agnes, the 2-year-old kid reads newspaper? hehe.

Actually, we were spotting characters 大 (means big) and 小 (means small) from any articles on newspapers. We flipped pages by pages and scanned through the news, titles and advertisements. Each time we spotted one, Agnes will circle it with her pencil. We get very excited and clapped happily especially when she spotted the character by herself. Now, she remember the character 大 and 小. How wonderful!

During the exercise, I found something interesting. Agnes acted as if she knows how to read the newspaper like adult when she spotting characters lines by lines in articles. :)

I think this is fun and interesting way for kids to remember the characters. Any characters, from A to Z, chinese characters, numbers, words and symbols. It can be a family entertainment for parents and children to enjoy together.
