Hypermarket Sweep Contest!

Do you guys watch Supermarket Sweep when you were small?

I do and I always enjoy watching the participants sweeping the goods from the Supermarket in the show.

One shopping day, we happened to see this poster.

Here's one in town last 22 December in Boulevard Hypermarket. Those who spent RM100 and above in single receipt will have chance to participate this contest. We signed up with a thought that we will not that lucky to be picked up for the contest.

Guess what! Bappy and I were called up to participate the Hypermarket Sweep the Saturday before the contest!!! We went crazy and excited. We decided to go for the contest as it will be our fun memories when we get old. Something we do it together when we still young. :D So, we planned to go to the Hypermarket to study on the 'floor plan' and learn where are the goods stored since we still have plenty of time before the contest... But, plan always a plan. We don't have time to go Boulevard shopping mall to do some study on the goods location in the end. So sien... but in other hand... I feel great as I have chance to sweep the goodies myself in Hypermarket Sweep like what the participants do in the Supermarket sweep show!! wakakaka! Bappy and I treat this just for fun to release our stress. Haha.. in fact, we rarely to shop at Boulevard Hypermarket as it is quite far from where we stay. So, it is very small chance for us to win prize home. :)

On 22 December morning...

After dropping our kids to nursery and nanny house. We head to Boulevard Shopping mall straight. We hope we still have plenty of time to do some survey around the Hypermarket before the contest starts.

Reached there about 9:10am. After registered, we went to study the goods location around the Hypermarket. I was so sleepy. Keep on yawning while we looking at the goods displayed on shelves. We thought of going for a cup of coffee.. but seems like not enough time. The contest is about to start with contest regulations briefing. We got our team number. That is...

- Team Number 8 -

Good number right? :) There are 30 teams altogether. Each of us given a shopping cart and a list of products. We got a cart with number 8. There are 27 products to be swept! Sweat~~~ we have to collect as many as we could within 10 minutes! We have to get back to the ending point within 10 minutes else we will be disqualified. The contest sounds so fun and challenging to us. Especially for us who not familiar with the hypermarket.. :)

3 - 2 - 1 - GO!!! All of us 'chiong' into the Hypermarket. Bappy and I were stunt. Don't know what to look for first. To many products to get.... Blurred! We were stress seeing other people like they-know-what-to-grab. Looking through the list, spotting the products from shelves and GRAB then go for next Grab! Bappy run around the store to grab the things. I walk slowly pushing our cart and see what I can grab. Relax! Sometimes I just follow what other people take. Haha! :P

10 Minutes was so short! Just before the time ends, bappy decided to ignore other products in the list that we haven't collect and back to the end point. We were the 6th team back to the ending point.

Some people back with 16, 17 goodies! wow! How fast they are!

-carts of goods that are not in the list filtered out! wrong quantity, wrong brands, wrong packaging-

see! so many ppl just collect blindly! I got all my 13 goods correctly but no bonus added.

Surprisingly, we won 3rd prize!! Wow! Can't wait to share with my family! Every participants are bringing whatever they collect in their shopping cart home.. except the shopping cart la!

Christmas PotLuck 2008

Having PotLuck with all my fellow colleagues. They become parts of my life as I meet them almost everday except Sunday. :D

Notes for myself when I'm old. This is very important as I tend to forget names.

Traditional Tang Yuen by Mummy! Agnes and I rolled the balls the night before. She enjoy rolling Tang Yuen. Agnes did the pink one and I made the white one. I also get Agnes to bring some Tang Yuen to treat her good friends at school.

We've Moved!

Dear friends,

We have moved to our new 'shell'. The feeling is so undescripable. Extremely undescripable. :D

Happy. Excite. Tired. Exhausted. but still Happy and Fun.

The house looks quite messy with luggages, boxes and bags. Bappy and I try to clear the mess whenever we can. So tired...

Agnes and Ryan are so happy. I think only Agnes understand we are moving to new house. Ryan is too small to understand what is happening. He never ask why we sleep at new place! Agnes and Ryan have difficulties to fall asleep in their new bedroom in first few nights. Baby Jayden seems like he 'smells' something different. He hardly have a good sleep too. But no worries, they will slowly settle down with the new environment. :)

Phew~ Just hope I have more and more energy to do the chores around the house everyday.

Gambade!

Agnes sleeps alone in bedroom..!

Agnes slept alone in bedroom last Saturday. She was so brave. I thought she will having hard time to sleep alone that night but who knows.. I'm the one who having hard time to let her sleep alone in another bedroom. Sounds so funny but is true. We have been sleeping together in the same room for 5 years and I always hope she can sleep independently like other kids one day. But,... I was go in and out from her room every 10 minutes. I was so scared and worry about her. I worry she gets cold at night. Worry she can't sleep well. Worry she scared of darkness. Worry she alone. Worry she has no one to go to when wake up during midnights. I was so worry but I don't let her know my fear. Because I know I have to let her sleep independently one day. I know I have to let her go one day... I know.. she has to grow up and I have to learn to let go my hands.

I was so missing her that night.

I never know I was the one who is not ready.

and I found that she is more brave than me.

Bappy laughed at me saying that I will cry like a baby when she goes camping with her friends one day. Bad bappy. But I imagine if she goes oversea to further her studies or working at overseas... for sure I will cry like a baby lor .. so what wor! that's why I cherish very much the time they with me now... Now they are small, they with me. In future, who know where will these 3 babies be. ok ok.. don't think too much.. :) It's way too far .. too soon to think about that.

Last Sunday, she back to sleep with us after watching horror movie. A giant snake eating human kind of movie. arr... I hate horror movie. But my Agnes likes to watch those horror movies.

And so funny, Ryan keep shouting for his jeje at midnights while sleeping. 'Je je! Je je!' Sounds like Ryan crying for help from his jeje or his jeje is bullying him in his dream. Haha..
