Oh no..

Every morning, I send my lovely Agnes to her school ... ...

This morning, I was driving slow and steady to her school as we out from home quite early. Suddenly a bird flew right in front of my car... and next second I heard the knocking sounds from my front... I knew I knocked something but I can't do anything as it flew too near and too sudden! my mind was just 'Oh no! what's that?!'

After the knocking sounds, I quickly look at my rear view mirror and I saw a bird laying on the road. I think it fainted because of the hard knocking... kolien!! Then another 2 birds flew down and try to approach the fainted bird but there were cars passing by... after that.. I hardly see what happened as I'm further and further driving away from the incident...

I feel miserable.. after few seconds, I told Agnes about the incident.. she didn't see what happened as she sit comfortably at the back.

mummy: tze, I knocked down a bird!
Agnes : huh? ... ...where is the bird?'
mummy: at the back.. far away now. I knocked down a bird ar.... (knocking sounds still buzzing at my ears)
Agnes: ... how's the bird looks like?
mummy: is black small bird... oh no... I knocked down a bird...
Agnes: ... ... what happen to the bird now ?
mummy: it lays there... in the middle of the road.. oh no....
Agnes: ... ... died already?
mummy: I dunno... hopefully there will be someone kind enough to carry the bird to roadside ...
... ...

During noon time, I bring Agnes home from school... we go home using the same route. When we passed by the place where the incident happened, I saw a shadow spot on the road, looks like feather thingy and it looked dry because of the strong hot sun in whole morning. The bird obviously has been rolled over by dunno-how-many cars!! Oh no!!

mummy: tze! the bird is dead! the cars rolled over the bird...
Agnes: ...
Agnes: ... nevermind lor... we don't tell bappy lo.. (comforting me.. scare I will get scolded by bappy)
mummy: ... kolian.. the bird is dead horribly.. haizz
Agnes: ... mummy, is ok lar...
mummy: mm.... (sadly)
Agnes: ... mummy, will this incident to be reported in news?
mummy: huh? (with smile) ... no lar.. (maybe I sounds like I made a big serious case here.. hehe..)
