nowadays...

I start to think too much nowadays... think silently... starting to worry every little things... maybe that's the normal situation for a preggie who is going to give birth soon...

I start thinking of...

am I ready ? will I able to handle the process and pain of delivery this time?

and when will it start to pain...? when? later? tomorrow? next day? next week? during midnight? during watching tv? during office hour? Anytime... bappy, agnes and my life could change any point of time...

whether agnes accept the life change, a big change in sudden ...

how many stitches I would have after delivery? scary... :

whether we have made enough necessary preparation for the arrival of our bb

whether bappy can handle everything himself after I gave birth as I can't help him but to rest in bed for one whole month

whether agnes will be neglected by family at that moment

whether my confinement lady is ready for me by the time I give birth

is my future confinement lady good?

how my confinement life would be? long and boring days? short and full of excitement?

will I miss kolomee? laksa? cold drinks? KFC? pizza? chicken curry? OF COURSE lar... at this moment, when I eat kolomee, I will tell bappy that this might be my last kolomee for this year. When I drink some cold coke, I also tell him that this might be my last coke for this year. . so... I try to enjoy all this before it's too late. :) funny hor...

will I miss driving? will I miss car ride? will I miss sending agnes to her school? will I miss my mummy's house? will I miss sitting sofa in the living room watching tv? ....

whether I can breastfeed my bb successfully

whether my colleague able to take over my work for next 2 months

what will happen to my own office pc and my seat after 2 months?

whether my blog will not be updated for 1 month?

Yea, these are problems that playing around my mind at the moment. I know I should stop thinking all this problem and relaxxxx... But, I just can't control it sometimes. :) So, What can I do?

Nowadays especially weekends, I keep myself busy in baking goodies and busy tackling my baking problems. I enjoy it and I find it saves me from pre 'labour blue'... I hope bappy enjoy my terrible baking goodies. erm.. not all are terrible one lar.. sometimes not enough to share.. wahseh! :) Don't worry lar bappy, your nightmare going to be end soon. Anytime, bappy. Maybe you will miss my baking goodies in just 1 week after I start my confinement ley? muahhahaa! who knows?

Sigh... will I miss beating eggs and sifting flour? will I miss baking goodies for my loves one? :( .............................. sure alot!

bappy make pineapple jam

We planned to make some pineapple jam so we bought 2 pineapples from sunday market. It's quite difficult to find pineapples at this moment as the pineapple season is in month July.

- RM1.50 green one and RM3.5 red one -

The red pineapples smell nice but can't smell anything from the green pineapple. So, we guess the green one is not ripe yet.

Bappy peel both pineapples' skin with knife carefully and chopped them in small cubes. To his surprise, he finds the green pineapples taste sweet too! Hm.. next time we will just get the green one. Cheaper and sweet too. :D

After that, he well blend all the pineapples and ready to cook in a wok.

- start cooking well blended pineapple -

Bappy and I took turn to stir fry the pineapples for 1 1/2 hours. It was a tiring process but we were happy during the process. Maybe it is our first time making pineapple jam, so we get so excited in learning preparing it. :D

- here's the home made pineapple jam -

Oh great! We finally done with our pineapple jam. It's sweet and it weights 560gm overall.

- hot hot banana cake -

- banana cake inner look -

- sliced banana cake -

I brought some of the banana cake to my mum's place. :) It was their first time to taste my own baked banana cake. Hope they like it. no lar.. I think they will definitely like it. :P

Bappy says it's nice but he prefers my very first banana cake. okay, I will stick to my first recipe to bake my future banana cakes then. He is my boss mah right? :P

'early birds' (colleagues, Martina and Joseph) with office keys are onleave. Poor us! Colleagues with keys (that are coming) are late to office so we all wait outside and have a short morning chit chat. I'm the first one (tortoise) to arrive and wait for them at the car parking lot.

my Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Robert. His hair is not as tidy as normal working days. And he has just woke up eyes. Dunno what happen to him last night. hahaha!

Peter Yxx is here. I think there will be a meeting later. I don't like him.. He is so bossy to me. That's my own opinion lar.

I baked a layer cake yesterday. A very failure layer cake. SO DENSE! Sob Sob~!
Okay.... back to work. Sigh... wat is my layer cake problem har.. :~~~)

7 weeks to go ...

he bought me...

He bought me a cook book from KL! :) It is a nice and newly published cook book... keke..

- the confinement dish book -

This book is published in October 2006 and it contains all sort of confinement dish recipes. Yes! I got more choices on my confinement meal now. So happy! Of course I won't cook during my confinement. I will choose new dishes from the book if I want and get my confinement lady to cook for me. :)

The book also classified all the dishes into different dialects such as FooChow, Hakka, Cantonese and healthy food suggested by some experience specialists. It also specifies the important nutrients of each dish. So, I know which dish to choose base on my needs then.

Hopefully this book able to 'save' me from boring meals during my confinement days.

she ... ...

Very early in the morning about 2 am...

Rock-a-bye, baby
In the treetop
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock ...

when we were all sleeping like a baby... suddenly!!!

UEK! UEK! cough* cough* UEK!

I quickly woke up and find out what had happened. oh no... she ... she.. vomitted! :( and she vomitted at my place!

'what happened to you dear?! aiyo!'

poor little her... she claimed that she had stomache before we went to bed. But after vomitted, she said her tummy no more pain. Glad to hear that. Hm... not sure what she ate that cause stomache ley...

So, we quickly cleaned her and the mess on our bed. Put the bedsheet to wash. After that, we went back to continue make our dreams... and I have to squeeze myself with bappy for more space to sleep.. my space is wet mah... Dunno why she always 'dirty' my space and not hers... and I need more space as I'm 'bigger' and 'fatter' than him now.. kekkee.. poor him..

arw!! It was hard for me to get back to sleep 'this morning' after cleaning the mess... I was the last to get to sleep... : Dunno what time... Both of them (bappy and B) already continue their beautiful dreams..

Rock-a-bye,
baby In the treetop
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock ...

the home creatures she scared most ...

agnes scared of these two creatures most ... ...
- lizard -

I think, lizard is her very first living creature to know when she was around 1 year old. We can see 'them' on ceiling at home most of the time especially at night time. So, it is very easy to tell her what is lizard.

When she was 1 year old ++, we tried to help her to wean off sucking pacifier. It's quite difficult for her to wean off that 'soothing mouth exercise'. I even tried what other parents taught me, one of the method was to put some 'axe oil' (kind of 'spicy' oilment) on the pacifier and let her suck. We thought she will throw away the 'spicy' pacifier immediately and never want the pacifier anymore. But she still sucked her pacifier happily. Then, we thought maybe we put too little oilment on her pacifier till she doesn't realise it. So, I add 'more' oilment on the pacifier and let her try again.. :P hehe..But.. but she still suck her pacifier with smiling face and both of us just there. Sigh, so, we just let her continue with the habit until one day...

one day, her ah mah can't find her pacifier everywhere so ah mah created a story, told her that her pacifier has been carried away by a lizard! Since then, agnes never cried and insisted to get back her pacifier but she kept asking bappy to buy new pacifier for her... (of course we never wanted to bring her to buy a new one... :P, that time we made alot of excuses and were very careful not to go near baby section when shopping) This was a big surprise for me that time. I was glad that she will wean off her sucking habit soon that time. :) . Yea... thanks to lizard!

- spider -

She scared to be alone as she thought spider or lizard will come to her. I always comfort her that bappy will always protect her from 'them'. Nothing to be scared of even if a spider or lizard is just in front of her... just call 'bappy! bappy!'... or 'ah gong! ah gong' (grandpa).. or ah mah! ah mah! (grandma) :D. I didn't teach her to call me because... I scared of spider too. Shhh...

purple dolphin

- guess what is this? -

Can you guess what it is? It's not a crystal dolphin for display. It's a plastic massager! It's a free gift of Palmolive Body Shampoo.

We used it to massage arms, thighs, legs, tummy, back, head, face... wuahahhaa! It's really useful.

- massaging leg -

To Agnes, there is another usage of this massager... ... now you guess what she use this for?

- can see what is she doing? -

- halo halo... popo... ni zhuo she me? -

wuahaha!! :) her new handphone/cell phone! She used to use her palm as her hp.. now she has this massager as her 'hp'. :D She calls her bappy, popo, gong gong, xiao gu, da gu, tua pek with this purple 'hp'. Sometimes, she passes the 'call' to me or bappy to talk... So, we also acting like talking on her 'hp' lor...

' hallo, popo har.. oh.. oh... ask tze tze to be a good girl har... oh oh ... bye byeee... ' haha!

I remember there is one day (when she was 2 years old), she was in very bad mood and very sensitive. She cried and refused to have a nap. She insisted to talk to her bappy. yalar.. she wanted to complain about me to her bappy lar.. but her bappy was having meeting and wouldn't back so soon.

FYI, she was using her old 'hp' - her own palm that time.

B: I want to call bappy... wu~~~~

me: 'B, u use ur 'phone' to call bappy... ask him to get home'

B: I don't want... wu~~~ I want to use mummy's phone!!!

HUH?!

me: you use your own phone. call liaw... wu~~

B: No.... I want to use mummy's phone to call bappy... wuu~~~~

me: urs one cannot call bappy meh? same one lar..

B: cannot... I want to use mummy's phone... wuu~~~

... ...

So, she actually knows which phone is fake and real?? :P

Keke... I wanted to post up my second attempt of snowskin mooncakes long ago but I'm busy with my job recently... eh..eh.. it's true and I miss blogging so much.. I was getting stress and stress and back home late almost everyday.. I hate such life... I was no more staring at the monitor with smiling face but with a stress-looking face... ok ok.. stop talking about my job.. that's too much to talk about.... :)

- I made green dough (pandan) this time -

- I chose BIG mould this time -

- TADA! my slightly cracked snowskin mooncake -

- looks better? -

This is not the perfect snowskin mooncake yet. But I'm satisfied with the outcome. It looks better than the 1st batch. :D Yes, of course I will try again to get my own perfect snowskin mooncake. And... maybe try traditional baked mooncake one day! Gee.. I love it!

on phone...

Bappy flies to KL to attend his company - Great Vision Associates Sdn Bhd's National Entrepreneurs Convention with his client.

Before agnes and I went to sleep, I called bappy to have a short chit-chat ... I switched on my loudspeaker mode on my hp. So, three of us can chit chat at the same time. :D

Doot doot... doot doot... doot doot...

bappy: hello...

me: hello... bappy!!

bappy: mummy~~ where is B! I want to talk to B...

errr... :(

me: B, what are u doing?? bappy want to talk to u...

B was busy playing her new battery lantern which she got from her popo just now...after knowing bappy is calling for her on the phone, she quickly put aside her lantern and run to my hp..

B: hello bappy!!! *with smiling face...

she thought ...

Agnes likes to ask some coins from us for her saving box everyday, erm.. almost everyday I would say.. not everyday lar. :P

During weekdays, when I have no coins in hand, I will tell her that ...

me: mummy's boss not yet give mummy money today. Later mummy goes back to work and boss will gives mummy money. So, mummy gives you money later in the evening when mummy back home okay?

I keep my promises always. I bring some coins home for her. She happily 'feed' her saving box with the coins I give her. Yes, mummy works and earns coins for her saving box.

There is one night, bappy brought us out for supper. Erm.. just a light supper. :) We ordered one glass of cold wheat grass drink and two bowls of 'Gu bak' mee (Beef mee). Erm... is this considered as light supper for you? hehee.. It's consider a light one for me. :P wuahhaha! But I don't take it everyday lar... otherwise I will be a 'huge' preggie leh.. :)

The beef mee costs RM3.50 each and the drink costs us RM1.20. Bappy paid the taukeh (hawker) with a RM note RM10. Taukeh come back to bappy with the change of RM1.80. Here comes the funny one... when agnes saw the taukeh put the change of four 20cents coins on our table, her eyes get brighten staring at the coins a...a. ...annnn.. and...she quickly 'sweep' all the coins to her front with her little palms. She then showed her very very happy face and claimed that she has earned some money for her saving box that day... the four 20cents coins! So funny!! We laughed when we heard what she said...

funny girl, she thought that's a way of earning money too :)

65 days to go!!!!

learn to share...

We went to a bakery to buy some buns. We let B choose her favourite and she chose this, Swiss Roll.

- swiss roll -

- I ate one piece, yea... the one at right most corner! Wuahaha! -

B: I want! I want! I want to eat all of it! It's mine!

It's nice to eat but I think it's too much for her. At first, she didn't want to share with us. So, I told her bappy won't buy her swiss roll next time if she didn't share her nice swiss roll with her mummy and bappy. Yea, after she hearing that and did some serious consideration, she decided to share her precious swiss roll with us. She made a clever choice, didn't she? :D.

Few days later, we bought kolomee home for supper. When we were about to eat kolomee, B told me that we must share the kolomee otherwise bappy won't buy us kolomee next time ar.. Huh?! Sounds familiar hor... I laughed when I heard it from little her. She sounds like a big sister. haha!
